Pakistan Navy protects costal borders and sea of Pakistan.  For talented Pakistani youth Pakistan Navy Jobs are offered throguh PN cadet  scheme and Volunteer Reserve Commission.  Officers in Navy work on costal installation as well as on the navel ships. Pakistan costal area spread from Arabian ocean to Indian Ocean.  It is hundreds of mile long.

How to join Pakistan Navy as an officer
To get permanent commission in Pakistan navy, following opportunities are available:
 
1.  PN cadet Scheme
Eligibility
Nationality     :                     Unmarried male citizen of Pakistan

Age:

For civilian candidates           16 ½ to 21 years
For service candidates          17 to 23 years
Height:                                  5 feet 4 inches (minimum)

Educational Qualification

At least 65 % marks in one of the following examinations:
F.Sc (Pre-Engineering)
with Maths, physics and chemistry

High Cambridge School certificate / GCE / A-Level
(with Maths, physics, chemistry/equivalent certificate)

2.  Volunteer Reserve Commission (PNVR)
Eligibility
Male citizens of Pakistan
Age of 20-26 years
Height of 5 feet 4 inches

Educational qualification
i.  Operations Branch
Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc / equivalent with below  combinations:
Physics and Maths
Statistics and Maths
Physics, Maths and Computer Sciences
Maths, Statistics and Economics

(Minimum 60% marks in F.Sc/equivalent are mandatory)

ii.  Logistics Branch

Minimum 60%marks in B.Com/M.Com/BBA/MBA or MA (Economics)
(Minimum 60% marks in F.Sc/equivalent are mandatory)

Selection Procedure
Following selection procedure is adopt for the above two scheme.
Entrance Test at selection centers
Intelligence test of 30 minutes
Academic Test of 80 minutes comprising English, Maths, physics and

general knowledge questions ( for PN Cadet Scheme only )

Result
Preliminary Medical / Interview
Test / Interview by ISSB
Medical examination of ISSB recommended candidates in the nearest CMHs/Naval Hospital.
Interview by PN selection board
Final selection by Naval Headquarters
