Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a course offered for those interested in pursing career in teaching. The B.Ed degree is mandatory for teaching in higher primary schools and high schools in Pakistan. The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed course is Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc). While students from arts stream are trained to teach subjects like history, civics, geography and languages. The students from science stream are trained to teach mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. After B.Ed, students can purse Master in Education (M.Ed).
Graduation (B.A /B.Sc/B.Com) or equivalent with 45 % aggregate marks from any recognized University or college.
Almost all the general universities in Pakistan offered B.Ed admission in B.Ed course. In Punjab and Sindh there are many colleges offer B.Ed admissions. You can find a list of B.Ed colleges from the concerned province education department website.
